And 24 hours after the songs’ release, that was still that case

Caleb Lee’s country ballad “Johnny Cash Heart” was sitting at number 60 on the iTunes overall singles chart as of midnight Friday. It was number 12 on the site’s country singles chart.

Maddie Poppe? Gabby Barrett?

Maddie was at 70 on the overall singles chart and 32 on the iTunes pop chart with “Going Going Gone.”

Gabby, the favorite to win the American Idol Season 16 crown, was at 87 on the overall singles chart and 17 on the country singles chart with the upbeat country tune “Rivers Deep.”

Hollywood Records released the singles early Friday morning. They’re among the songs the American Idol Top 3 will perform on Sunday’s Season 16 performance finale. The winner of Season 16 will be announced during the season finale on Monday.
