Carrie Underwood kicks off her Blown Away tour tonight in Manchester, N.H.

And she’ll do so knowing she has the number one country album in the land.

“Blown Away” reclaimed that status on the Billboard country album chart last week and maintained it this week.

Released in early May, the album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and the country album chart. But it had dipped as low as number seven on the latter since then.

As for the tour, Carrie will be visiting more than 50 cities, including Reading next Thursday night. Other area stops include Baltimore (Nov. 7), State College (Nov. 13), Pittsburgh (Nov. 27) and Philly (Nov. 28).

Tickets for the Reading show range from $53.75 to $74.80, and it appears good seats are still available. Go here for ticket information for all the shows.

Carrie opened her Play On tour in Reading in March 2010 and spent part of the show airborne in a blue pickup truck.

The blue pickup truck won’t be traveling with her, this time around, but that doesn’t mean all the crowd won’t get a chance to see Carrie up close.

“(It will be) definitely spectacular, kind of producing the same results,” Carrie told The Associated Press of a trick she has up her sleeve for the shows on this tour. “But I really love to get to the back of arenas. On the stage you can see the first few rows, but then after that it’s just kind of noise. And being able to put faces to an audience has been really cool. So that was important to me to be able to do something like that again.”

* “Home” is still performing well for Phillip Phillips, though it drops from six to nine on the digital download chart and from 21 to 22 on the Hot 100.

* “Never Close Your Eyes” is stubbornly hanging around on the dance / club play chart. The Adam Lambert tune climbed as high as number six on the chart a few weeks ago; it’s now number 17.
