She just released a new album that went straight to number one on iTunes’ country albums chart.

She just announced a “Storyteller” tour for 2016.

She’ll be co-hosting the CMA Awards with Brad Paisley next weekend.

Now comes the news that Carrie Underwood also will be helping us welcome 2016.

At least that’ll be the case for those watching ABC’s “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”

Ryan Seacrest hosts the show — with assists from Fergie and Jenny McCarthy — meaning it will be something of an American Idol reunion with Carrie on hand in Times Square to perform some of her biggest hits.

The show begins at 8 p.m. that night.

ABC announced Carrie’s participation this week and said other performers will be announced at a later date.
