Catie Turner turned in the most popular performance during American Idol’s Top 10 reveal show.

That’s based on YouTube views of videos from Monday’s telecast, which the show started with 14 contestants.

Ryan Seacrest announced which six contestants advanced based on fan voting. Then the judges revealed their four wild card picks to complete the Top 10.

The results below vary so much from the semifinals and Sunday’s Top 14 performance show that I’m not sure they tell us a whole lot.

Except for this: If she isn’t careful, Miss Catie Turner might become the Season 16 American Idol in a landslide.

This is the fourth consecutive performance show in which her video has been the night’s most popular, and the gap between her and the rest of the Season 16 cast keeps growing.

Based on some of the remarks made on Sunday’s show, I checked the comments on her YouTube video to see if fans were watching because they thought the performance was a train wreck (it wasn’t) or because it was terrific (it wasn’t, but Catie did a good job with an out-of-left-field song choice).

It quickly became clear that Catie has struck a chord with many, many American Idol fans.

Here are those performance videos, complete with the number of views each had received as of 10 p.m. Tuesday.
