But you don’t have to wait until then to buy, download or stream original music from the trio.
All three have already released music that’s available on iTunes and Spotify.
Pre-show, Gabby Barrett was the most prolific musically. She has no fewer than 19 singles available on digital music sites, and they’re a combination of covers and originals.
Did you love her versions of “The Climb”. and “I Have Nothing?” Before the show, she had already released versions of both.
Want originals? Try “Rose Colored Glass,” “Make Me Feel,” “Your Name on It,” “Jesus and My Momma” and “Somthin’ Good.” The latter two are rollicking country songs released during her Idol run. I’ve embedded “Somthin’ Good” below.
As I noted in a blog posted earlier this week, Caleb Lee Hutchinson and Maddie Poppe both previously auditioned for celebrity judges on The Voice, but failed to turn a chair.
The very next year, Caleb released a five-track country EP called “Country Music,” describing his music as leaning more toward traditional country than modern country-pop.
“I Can’t Say” and the title track “Country Music” are especially good. Both are perfectly suited to his deep, rich country voice. You can check out “Country Music” below.
Of the three, Maddie has released the most ambitious project to date, a seven track indie pop album called “Songs from the Basement” that cme out in the summer of 2016.
We heard her perform one of the songs from the album — “Don’t Ever Let Your Children Grow Up” — during Hollywood Week on Idol, and you can check out the music video for the song below.
Other songs you’ll definitely want to check out include “I Don’t Care to Belong,” about the pressure of conformity, and “You Stole My Heart.”
Maddie, Caleb and Gabby will return to the Idol stage Sunday night to compete for the Season 16 title. The American Idol finale is set for Monday.
