New post-Voice music out includes singles from Tony Lucca, Slaves (featuring former Voice runner-up Matt McAndrew as lead singer) and R. Anthony.

Here’s a bit about each of those releases.

The links take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

* Tony Lucca from Season 2 released “Blowin’ Up a Storm,” the fifth and final single off the EP “Right Here” on Friday. Tony wrote the song with Sean Trainor and said it was inspired by the idea of a Wizard of Oz style Kansas storm blowing in. Like lots of artists right now, Tony has turned to social media as a performance outlet, performing 21 songs Wednesday during a live Facebook/Instagram show and offering a recording for sale to fans.

* Slaves, featuring lead vocalist Matt McAndrew from Season 7, released “Talk to a Friend” last week. “Been wanting to write these lyrics for a minute. One of my favorites from the new record,” writes Matt on Instagram. Matt, runner-up on The Voice, was introduced as the new lead singer for Slaves last summer and the group has since released three other singles — “Heavier,” “Prayers” and “Bury a Lie.” Matt’s also the featured vocalist on “Warning,” a new single by Saint Punk.

* R. Anthony from Season 5 has a new gospel single out called “Made Up.” It’s his first release of 2020 and Renard Anthony Edwards — R. Anthony is a stage name, or course — thanks producer Ryan Copeland for helping bring the song to life.

In addition …

* Troy Ramey from Season 12 has released a new cover of “Stuck on You” by Lionel Richie.

* Ryan Whyte Maloney from Season 6 collaborated with Kylee Skye Lynn on a Snow Patrol / Police mashup called “Every Car You Chase.”
