After The Voice

Check out the new song from former Voice contestant Jonathas

Jonathas Jonathas, a Season 2 contestant on The Voice, has released a new R&B track called “Won’t Let Go.”

It’s the first release from an upcoming EP called “Solitude.”

Actually, we met this guy on both major singing shows. He made the Vegas round on American Idol in Season 10, performing as Jonathas Ojeda.

On The Voice, he landed a spot on Team Christina, but was eliminated in the battle round. A native of Brazil, Jonathas was 4 when his family fled the poverty and violence of Brazil for the promise of the United States.

He knew no English at the time and told The Voice that listening to music helped him learn the language.

Between his appearances on the two shows, Jonathas released a seven track EP called “Foreigner: The Mixtape” that’s also available on iTunes.

You can follow what Jonathas is up to on Facebook; he’s @iknowJONATHAS on Twitter.
