Music from former contestants on The Voice continues to come fast and furious.

Today, let’s take a look at new singles and/or videos released by Sarah Simmons, Tim Atlas and Jonathas.

Sarah Simmons — “Staring at the Sun”

Talk about singing your butt off. Sarah Simmons does that and a little more in her new single “Staring at the Sun.” Oh, and the official video for the song features a guest appearance by actor Wes Studi.

Here’s how Sarah describes the song on Facebook: “It was written in memory of a close friend who went too soon. The song is a depiction of loss and finding peace through our pain. It pays tribute to all our loved ones who have gone too soon. Something we all have faced or will face.”

The song is from her upcoming album, “Freedom.” After hearing “Staring at the Sun,” I can’t wait for more. She released another song from the album last month. It’s called “Honey, I’m Fine” and you can check it out in my collection of Voice-related music videos from so far in 2016.

Sarah, 22 when she auditioned for The Voice, appeared on Season 4, advancing all the way to the Top 8.

Tim Atlas — “Wander”

A member of Team Gwen in Season 9, Tim already flexed his post-Voice producing muscle, helping with new releases by fellow contestants Lyndsey Elm, Kota Wade and Summer Schappell.

Now he’s back with his own first post-Voice release, a breezy pop tune called “Wander.” It’s actually his first release since a 2013 EP called “Lost in Waiting.” But on Facebook, Tim is promising there are more new tunes to come.

Tim was 26 when he earned a spot on The Voice with a cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Give Me Love.” He advanced to the knockout round before being eliminated with a match with eventual Top 11 finisher Evan McKeel.

Jonathas — “It’s On Me”

Prefer music of the R&B variety? Jonathas delivers in his new video, “It’s on Me,” featuring an appearance by Cha’keeta Banita. The song is from an upcoming EP called “Solitude.”

Over the course of the song, Jonathas promises to buy his woman anything she wants. She wants a ring, too.

Jonathas has also been promoting a catchy song called “Don’t Tease Me” that you can check out on Soundcloud.

Jonathas performed on Season 2 of The Voice. He was also appeared on Season 10 of American Idol.

RaeLynn — “Love Triangle”

I reported earlier this week that RaeLynn released her first single with Warner Music Nashville. But at the time, I didn’t have official audio of the song. Now I’ve embedded it below.

RaeLynn, one of the most successful post-Voice contestants, wrote the song from her own experience dealing with the divorce of her parents.
