Chelle’s time on The Voice ended following a Team Kelly Clarkson battle round match with Anaya Cheyenne that aired Monday.

But she still got compliments following a performance of “Scared to be Lonely,” including from Nick Jonas who said she has “a real gift” with her vocal ability.

Chelle earned a spot on Team Kelly with a blind audition performance of “idontwanttobeyouanymore” by Billie Eilish.

Here’s what the 18-year-old from Bargersville, Indiana, told Voice Views about her Voice experience.

Voice Views: What do you consider your biggest takeaway / lesson learned from The Voice experience?

Chelle: My biggest takeaway is that I truly learned that when I set my mind to something I will achieve it and I’ve learned so much about who I am as a person and a musician.

Voice Views: What are you post-Voice plans musically? Where are you hoping this opportunity leads?

Chelle: I would love to get my YouTube up and running and would love to get some steady gigs. I hope this opportunity gives me the most exposure for people to hear what I’m capable of as a musician.

Voice Views: Do you have plans to release new music? If so, what can you tell us about that?

Chelle: I would love to start writing my own music and one day release some!

Voice Views: Is there anything else you’d like to add about The Voice experience?

Chelle: I’ve made lifelong friends through this experience and I wouldn’t change that for the world!
