Chris Mann, from The Voice Season 2, has released the first song from his upcoming album.

Chris Mann released the first single from his upcoming fourth album Friday.

The song is called “Gentleman,” a jazz-infused pop tune co-written by Chris, Cameron Forbes and Willy Beaman.

“It’s officially the age of the Gentleman,” Chris proclaims on Instagram. “So stoked for this song to be out in the world and into your ears! This is a new chapter for me as an artist.”

The new chapter will continue with the release of “Noise,” expected as soon as this spring.

Chris is promising “an unexpected, new sound” on the album, plus a single featuring a vocal assist from India.Arie.

Now 36, Chris placed fourth on Season 2 of The Voice. He’s since released a pair of pop albums (“Roads” in 2012 and “Constellation” in 2016) plus a Christmas album. He’s also starred on a national tour of “Phantom of the Opera.”

The new album is being released with the help of a successful Pledge Music campaign, and you can still pre-order physical copies of the album through that effort.

Here’s “Gentleman.”
