And he’s doing a pretty good job of it, principally by putting new lyrics to The Knack’s “My Sharona” and renaming the song “My Corona.”

In the week since it’s release, “My Corona” has been shared more than 500,000 times on Facebook. It’s been viewed nearly 3 million times on YouTube and more than 22 million times all tolled.

“Laughter IS therapeutic,” Chris writes on Instagram. “Wow. I had no idea what was gonna happen when I made ‘My Corona.’

“I sung it and shot the video in a few hours in my bathroom during my son’s nap. Hard to believe it’s been viewed 19M times and shared by half a million people. That’s nuts.

“I’m humbled by the response and am happy to help with some LOLs in a time when few could be had.”

Chris is keeping the parodies coming. He’s also done corona versions of “Vogue” and Adele’s “Hello.”
