Christina Grimmie’s family is planning the second annual gala for the Christina Grimmie Foundation created in the late singer’s memory.

Christina Grimmie’s family released a fan favorite this week, the late singer’s cover of “I Will Always Love You.”

“These words ring so true as Christina absolutely loved and adored you #TeamGrimmie and that love continues as we carry it forward as a family,” reads the latest post on Christina’s Facebook page.

Christina’s family has kept her legacy alive with a steady stream of releases since her death at the hands of a gunman following a 2016 show in Florida.

They’ve also created the Christina Grimmie Foundation with a dual mission of helping family’s affected by gun violence and families facing breast cancer diagnosis. Christina’s mom is a breast cancer survivor.

In fact, plans are underway for the foundation’s second annual gala, set for Sept. 25 at the Taglyan Complex in Hollywood. You can learn more about the event here.
