Crystal will headline a “Rev It Up for Juvenile Diabetes” outdoor music festival and concert at  Lehigh University’s Stabler Arena in Bethlehem on Sept. 10.

Also performing will be another former Idol finalist, Elliott Yamin, plus Jordan White, Philly-based singer-songwriter Carmen Magro and alternative rock band Hawthorne Heights.

A portion of the concert proceeds goes to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Crystal, of course, has struggled with diabetes, was hospitalized for the disease at one point during her Idol run and has appeared at a number of events raising money for diabetes causes since her Idol run.

Yamin, who finished third in season five also battles diabetes.

In fact, you might recall that, at one point, he feared running out of supplies to treat his diabetes when an earthquake struck Chile when he visited the county back in March 2010.

A free outdoor festival will start outside the arena at 2 p.m. that day, featuring local bands. The Rev It Up concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $39.50 or $27.50 and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com or by calling the Stabler Arena box office at 610-758-6611.
