Damien Lawson wins his Team Adam battle round on The Voice

0

Damien Lawson was paired against one of his best friends during the battle round on The Voice, but prevailed over Kelli Douglas in a Team Adam showdown.

They were asked to sing “Knock on Wood,” and Damien seemed assured and in control from the moment the song started.

He also delivered several interesting ad libs. When the singing ended, Blake Shelton called his voice “explosive.”

The 35-year-old from Monroe, La., now advances to the knockout round, which begins next week on The Voice.
