Ryan Sill, Jessie Pitts both advance from their battle on The Voice

Jessie Pitts said she and Ryan Sill have a simple strategy for their battle round match on The Voice: They were both going to be so good, the loser would have to be stolen.

Turns out that’s just what happened.

Jessie and Ryan sang “I Need Your Love,” a song choice that would have seemed to favor Jessie. But when the singing ended, Ryan was praised for his spot-on vocals and was declared the winner by Gwen Stefani.

Jessie’s time on the show appeared over, until she got a last-second save from Blake Shelton, who called her voice so unique that he thinks she can win The Voice.
