So, you missed out on David Cook’s soldout concert at Penn State York back in March?

Well, you’ve got another chance to see American Idol’s season seven winner without leaving York County.

The York Fair just announced that David will be playing the York Fair Grandstand at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18.

Tickets for the show go on sale next Saturday (May 30) at 9 a.m. Tickets are $35 for center track, center plaza and center grandstand and $32 for side track, side plaza and side grandstand.

David is fresh off two recent appearances on Idol. Earlier this season, he performed his latest single, “Come Back to You.”

Then on Wednesday’s finale, he performed “Permanent,” a song he dedicated to his brother, who died of cancer earlier this month. That song is now available for download on iTunes; proceeds will go to cancer research.

The York Fair has announced four grandstand acts for this year, and Cook marks the second Idol winner slated to perform. Kelly Clarkson performs on opening night, Sept. 11. Tickets are still available for that show.
