As The Four prepared to crown a Season 2 champ Thursday night, Season 1 winner Evvie McKinney returned to perform her debut single.

The song is called “How Do You Feel” and will be available on digital sites Friday.

“I’m jumping out of my body!” Evvie proclaimed in a Facebook post. “MY original music is about to be popping on radio stations all over the world.

“Y’all really don’t understand the level of excitement in my heart. I really hope y’all ready because this song is definitely a knock out. You just never know which way I’m swinging next.”

Evvie, from Memphis, was 20 when she showed up on the next-to-last episode of the premiere season of The Four. She wound up upsetting show favorite Zhavia and capturing the Season 1 crown with the help of a manic version of “Proud Mary.”

Here’s Evvie’s performance of the song from The Four, followed by photos of her special appearance on the show.
