The Four season finale scored the show’s best ratings of Season 2 Thursday night.

But that was still only good enough for third place in the Thursday night ratings war.

Viewers, by a nearly two-to-one margin, preferred the first pre-season football game of the 2018 season, aired on NBC, or a repeat of The Big Bang Theory, aired on CBS.

NBC scored a 1.8 rating among the coveted viewers between 19 and 49 compared to The Four’s 1.0.

About 6.5 million viewers tuned in to watch the Baltimore Ravens and Chicago Bears square off. About 3.37 million watched as James Graham inexplicable win over Sharaya J for The Four Season 2 crown.

Prior to Thursday, The Four’s best rating was a 0.9 scored last week. It’s biggest audience was 3.11 million, also last week.

The show’s Season 1 finale recorded a 1.3 rating and drew an estimated 4.03 million viewers.

Season 3?

Apparently, FOX has decided whether there will be a Season 3 of The Four.

Asked about Season 3 on the red carpet when the finale was filmed, judge Meghan Trainor said: “I really hope Season 3 exists. My first hope is we get picked up for another one. That would be incredible.”
