Kelly Clarkson-324Remember that brilliant performance of “Piece by Piece” by Kelly Clarkson when she returned to American Idol for a guest judging stint last year.

Well, it will be up for a Grammy Sunday night (show airs at 8 p.m. on CBS), making Kelly one of four singing show personalities to be up for honors this year.

The others are Carrie Underwood, who already has seven Grammys to her credit, Jennifer Hudson and former Voice winner Cassadee Pope.

At least that’s it in terms of past contestants. Former Idol judge Keith Urban is up for a pair of Grammys; he’s already won four.

Beyonce has the most nominations heading into Sunday’s show with nine. Rihanna and Drake have eight each; Adele has five.
