The U.S. version of La Voz — the Spanish language version of The Voice — just wrapped up Season 1 on Telemundo.

Jeidimar Rijos, 18, of Dorado, Puerto Rico, won the title, but the Season 1 cast included four former contestants on The Voice.

Ivonne Acero, 21 of Aguila, Texas, had finished Top 20 on Season 9 of The Voice. She turned four chairs with her La Voz blind audition, but was also the first former Voice artist eliminated when she lost her battle round.

Manny Cabo, 48, of Elizabeth, N.J., also appeared on Season 9 of The Voice. He nabbed one of the very last spots available on Season 1 of La Voz and made it to the live playoffs before being eliminated.

Johnny Biss, 26, of New York, N.Y., was an early front-runner on Season 14 of The Voice after turning four chairs with his blind audition. He wound up finishing Top 24. Like Manny, he was eliminated in the live playoffs on La Voz.

Genesis Diaz, 20, of Miami, Fla., wound up being the former Voice contestant to go the deepest into La Voz. She turned three chairs with her blind audition, but was eliminated in the 16-singer semifinals (only four advanced). Genesis also competed on The Voice Season 14, but was eliminated in the battle round.

Wrote Genesis on Instagram: “Words can’t explain how grateful I am for this journey. Thank you to everyone who believed in me. Thank you @lavozus for the best days of my life. That stage will forever have a piece of my heart.”
