Gyth Rigdon recalls being “so nervous” before his first-ever bar gig as a solo artist.

He was still a minor and his father booked him for a show at a place called Daiquiri Station in Leesville, La.

“I had heard the bar was full of bikers and they were quick to tell an artist to go home if they weren’t good … so you can imagine how nervous I was,” Gyth told Voice Views.

“I had no idea what I was going to do, until it hit me: All bikers love Lynyrd Skynyrd. The first song I played was ‘Simple Man.’ Now … it’s one of my favorites to play.”

Gyth wound up being the very first singer we heard on Season 16 of The Voice. He’ll also be one of the last we hear perform.

He turned three chairs with his blind audition, joined Team Blake Shelton and will be performing in the finals Monday night.

Here’s more about Gyth:

* He was raised by his single father on farm near Singer, La., where the family trained race horses.

* Gyth said his father Paul not only taught him the value of hard work, but music as well. He wrote songs and played guitar all his life, Gyth told The Voice.

* Gyth has released two country albums, “Where I Began” in 2016 and “When I’m Gone” in September. “Body Language,” a song from that first album, has been streamed more than 1 million times on Spotify.

* Oh, and Gyth, 25 when he auditioned, wound up meeting his wife Bayleigh in Daiquiri Station too.

Here’s a look back at Gyth’s performances from The Voice.
