This will come as great news to fans of Season 10 of American Idol.

Haley Reinhart and Casey Abrams performed together a couple of  times last spring, most notably when they performed “Moanin'” on the top 8 results show.

It was absolutely one of the musical highlights of Season 10.

Now Haley and Casey have recorded a holiday tune, “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”   And it will be available for download on  Nov. 21.

The press release from Universal music calls it a “jazzy ensemble” performance of the Christmas classic.

The release also offers up another tidbit of good news for Haley fans — it says she’s “in the studio writing and recording her debut album, out early next year.”

It’s the first time I’ve seen a mention of when we might expect a debut album from Haley.

As for the holiday duet with Casey, my only complaint — why not an entire album of duets.  They sound that good together.

You can go here to listen to a 90-second snippet of the song.
