The Voice allowed fans to select either Hannah, Zach Seabaugh or Chris Jamison to return to the show.
Hannah received the most votes and performed her first-ever single, “I Alone Have Loved You.”
You’ll recall that Hannah was a pre-school teacher in Nebraska before auditioning for the show’s 10th season.
She surprised everyone, herself included, by winding up in third place behind Adam Wakefield and Alisan Porter.
“I Alone Have Loved You” is one of the first songs she ever wrote. Inspired by an Andrew Wyeth painting, it hit iTunes last month.
Hannah, 25, told the Lincoln Journal Star, her hometown newspaper, that she’s taken a year’s leave of absence from teaching to see what happens with a musical career.
Next up for Hannah: A pair of Happy Holiday shows at the Bourbon Theatre in Lincoln. They’re set for Dec. 16-17.
She’s not the only Season 10 finalist to release new music. Among the Top 12, Owen Danoff, Emily Keener, Adam Wakefield, Daniel Passino and Paxton Ingram also have already released new originals.
