No American Idol auditioner got more praise in Charlotte than Candice Glover.

Randy Jackson called her rendition of “Syrup and Honey” the best the judges had heard.

Nicki Minaj was so impressed, she said: “I’m not worthy to critique you.”

Nicki was probably hearing Candice for the first time. Not so for Randy, because Candice made it to Vegas last year.

She even made it past the group round in Vegas, performing with Jessica Sanchez and Deandre Brackensick.
