American Idol Season 15

Hear more from Kory Wheeler of American Idol Season 15

Wheeler asked the American Idol judges if they recognized him when he appeared for his Season 15 audition.

They did. And you might have, too.

Kory also was featured in the Season 14 premiere. He’s the guy who was working in a coffee shop when the Nashville auditions were taking place.

He rushed across the street to try out during his lunch break, gave Jennifer Lopez the “goosies” when he performed “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” then rushed back to work with the news that he’d earned a golden ticket to Hollywood.

Well, Kory is headed back to Hollywood, a year older and Idol wiser after impressing the judges with a rendition of “Bennie and the Jets” during Wednesday’s episode.

We didn’t hear much of the judges’ feedback because Kory was squeezed into a three-singer montage. But the look on Jennifer Lopez’s face told you she enjoyed what she was hearing.

In between auditions, Kory, 27, found time to release a five-track debut EP called “All Good Things.” I’ve embedded a couple of tracks below.

In the meantime, you can follow Kory through his Facebook page. On Twitter, he’s @thisiskory.
