American Idol will eliminate five more singers Thursday night.

But based on Wednesday’s solo performances, at least four singers should be pretty sure bets to make the Top 14.

That would include Dalton Rapattoni, Trent Harmon, Shelbie Z. and Olivia Rox.

They turned in solid performances as the second dozen of American Idol’s 24 semifinalists took the stage for solos.

Of course, we’ve yet to hear the duets featuring former stars of the show — David Cook, Jordin Sparks, Constantine Maroulis, Chris Daughtry, Kellie Pickler and Haley Reinhart.

But the judges made it clear at the start of Wednesday’s show that it’s the solo round that carries the most weight when they decide who to advance and who to send home.

For the second straight week, we also watched a former frontrunner stumble. Last week it was Emily Brooke. This week, it was Jenn Blosil.

Emily wound up being eliminated. It’ll be interesting if Jenn can escape the same fate since she’s one of the more unique singers in the Top 24.

Here’s another look at Wednesday’s performances.

Which ones were most popular on YouTube? Check the number in parenthesis below. That’s the number of views each had as of 7:30 p.m., nearly 24 hours after they were posted.
