Below, you’re treated to a video of a disguised Allison Iraheta buying her own debut album.
Apparently, a few other people bought it as well. Allison’s “Just Like You” debuted at number 35 on the Billboard 200 charts released Thursday morning.
That debut isn’t as good as those for Adam Lambert (number three) or Kris Allen (number 11), but Allison hasn’t gotten nearly as much publicity as the season eight Idol finalists.
Speaking of Adam, his album drops from three to 22 on the charts this week.
Speaking of Kris, his album falls from 35 to 52 in its third week on the charts.
Carrie Underwood’s latest album, “Play On,” is doing better than those from any of this year’s top finishers. Released Nov. 3, it’s back up to number six on the Billboard 200.
And landing between Adam and Allison on the charts is David Archuleta, with his fine Christmas album. It jumped all the way from 52 to 34 this week.
A complete rundown of Idols on the music charts comes tomorrow.
A look back at the Idol Chatter reviews of the albums: “Just Like You,” “For Your Entertainment,” “Kris Allen.”
Meanwhile, enjoy the video of the goofy Ms. Iraheta.
