American Idol is planning a 20th birthday party on May 2.

And it’s inviting lots of fan favorites back for an episode dubbed The Great Idol Reunion.

That includes former judges Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul.

And that includes lots of former contestants, performing duets.

Those will include:

* Season 7 champ David Cook performing with Season 8 winner Kris Allen.

* Season 10 champ Scotty McCreery performing with Season 10 runner-up Lauren Alaina.

* Season 17 champ Laine Hardy performing with Laci Kaye Booth, a Top 5 finisher that year.

* Season 19 runner-up Willie Spence performing with Season 19 finalist Grace Kinstler.

This continues a season-long theme on Idol, which invited back Season 19 champ Chayce Beckham, Season 17 runner-up Alejandro Aranda and Season 11 champ Phillip Phillips to perform new singles on an earlief episode.

In addition, Season 16 finalist Gabby Barrett just mentored on Top 14 Week and Ruben, Lauren, Jordin, David, Hailey Reinhart and Lee DeWyze (Season 9 champ) mentored during Hollywood Week.

Monday’s one-hour Great Idol Reunion episode is set to begin at 8 p.m. eastern time.
