New post-Voice music out includes an EP from Jacquie and singles from Adanna Duru and Oliv Blu.

Jacquie, aka Jacquie Lee, from The Voice Season 5
Jacquie, runner-up on The Voice Season 5 as Jacquie Lee, released a four-track EP called “Protect My Peace” on Thursday. Says Jacquie: “I used to run from the feeling of hating myself. I built up a lot of fear, anger, resentment and sadness since I was a kid. And going on a show at 15 where I was on national television every week only heightened and accelerated these feelings until it felt like I couldn’t do anything without dread looming over every action.” She said she hit her lowest in 2020 and “this is where the project truly started for me. This was the beginning of my healing and acceptance … Protect my peace is a mantra I started whispering to myself every morning and night to reinforce that just because a feeling is familiar, it doesn’t make it healthy or safe … This EP has helped me grow into loving and embracing my hypersensitively instead of rejecting and shaming it, and I hope you can find your own meaning in whatever ways are healing for you.” Jacquie says she recorded most of the EP in her Kia. Adanna Duru from The Voice Season 3
Adanna Duru from Season 3 has released a new dance single called “Pop!” She wrote the song, which was produced by Blue Rondo. She also shows off her dance skills in an accompanying music video, directed by Riley Lattanza. It follows “Boogie” as the second recent single from Adanna. In addition to competing on The Voice, Adanna finished Top 10 on American Idol Season 14.

Oliv Blu from The Voice Season 16
Oliv Blue from Season 16 released a single called “Higher Ground” on Friday. It’s her first release of 2022. Oliv made it to the Top 13 on The Voice, competing for both Team John Legend and Team Blake Shelton along the way.
