Jeffery Austin snags final save on The Voice (photo gallery)

Jeffery Austin completed his journey from a one-star turn to The Voice finals.

But it took the most improbable of instant saves to do it.

During Tuesday’s results show on The Voice, Jordan Smith, Emily Ann Roberts and Barrett Baber were revealed as the three contestants voted into the finals.

That left Jeffery to battle it out for the instant save with Madi Davis and Zach Seabaugh.

The odds figured to be in Zach’s favor. He began the week with more than 39,000 followers on Twitter, more than Madi and Jeffery combined.

In fact, Jeffery ranked ninth among the Top 9 in Twitter support.

But Jeffery had scored the second most popular song during Monday’s performance show when he covered “Believe” and delivered another top-notch vocal with his save-me performance of “Make It Rain.”

Zach countered with “Live Like You’re Dying” and Madi performed “Don’t Dream It’s Over.”

Fans rallied behind Jeffery.

His response on Twitter: “Is this life?! From one chair to the Finale. Thank you doesn’t cut it. Love you all so much!”

Here’s a photo gallery from Tuesday’s show.
