Sawyer Fredericks, the show’s Season 8 champ, has released “The Golden Tree,” his first new original in more than two years. Writes Sawyer: “‘The Golden Tree’ captures many phases in my life and is about my musical journey, growing up playing farmers markets in small towns around my home, & then going on to The Voice and then suddenly my music was being heard all around the world.” On social media, Sawyer calls it “the first single,” an indication there’s likely more new music to come. Now 23, Sawyer wrote and produced the track. He won The Voice at age 16.

Zach Seabaugh from Season 9 has release “Girl in a Coffee Shop,” inspired, apparently, by a girl sitting across the room from him at the Barista Parlor in Germantown (Nashville area), Tenn. “If you’ve ever been on a plane or in a coffee shop, saw a stranger your age and thought to yourself ‘If this ship starts to sink – it’s me and you’ — This song is for u,” writes Zach. It’s Zach’s fifth single of 2022 and comes on the heels of September’s “Christmas Lights.”

Wilkes from Season 14 has a new song out called “You Don’t.” Says Wilkes, who also auditioned for the most recent season of America’s Got Talent: “I wrote it to any guy that is in a relationship but can’t bring himself to tell her that he loves her. ‘If you don’t know, then we both know… You don’t.'” It follows “Burn That Bridge” as the second recent single from Wilkes, who’s also been releasing music with E.B. Coles and her husband Shane as Wilkes and The Coles.
