The debut album from former American Idol standout Jessica Meuse comes out later this summer.
She dropped the song “High” on Friday, and you can check out the lyric video below.
Her upcoming album, “Halfhearted,” will be released Aug. 3. It’s available for pre-order on iTunes and anyone doing so will get “High” and “Love You Better” as immediate downloads.
The album features 15 tracks and Jessica plans to release two more songs — “California Dream” on June 29 and “Thank God It Didn’t Work” on July 13 — before it comes out.
The album also features a song called “Without You” featuring Season 4 Aemrican Idol runner-up Bo Bice.
Though she’s released some singles in the past, this will mark Jessica’s debut album. The 27-year-old placed fourth on Season 13 of American Idol.
