Folks eagerly awaiting the new album from American Idol Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks won’t have to wait much longer.
“Right Here, Right Now” will be out Aug. 21, and pre-orders just started on iTunes.
The album is the third from Jordin, but her first since the very pop sounding “Battlefield” in July 2009.
Earlier this week, Jordin released a third song from the album, the title track. The the accompanying video, which you can check out below, hit YouTube Thursday.
The video’s premiere was no small affair, as Jordin and fans gathered on Times Square in New York to watch it on the Jumbotron.
Of the 14 tracks on the album, two others are already available — “It Ain’t You” and “Double Tap.”
Jordin, 25, has called making the album “a very therapeutic process” following her highly-publicized breakup with Jason Derulo.
“You’re getting all of the emotions on the record,” Jordin said in this People interview.
Now, here’s the video.
