Julia Gagnon has released her first post-American Idol single with musical partner Nate Haven.
Julia Gagnon, Top 7 on American Idol Season 22, has released her first post-show single and kicked off a summer-long homecoming tour.
Hailing from Cumberland, Maine, Julia’s new song, written with romantic and musical partner Nate Haven is “Here in Maine.”
The song dropped Friday. And while streaming numbers haven’t appeared on Spotify yet, a video of Julia and Nate performing the song on a local TV station has been viewed more than 22,000 times on YouTube.

“I don’t know what to say or how to even express how far we’ve come on this song?” Julia writes on social media.
“We started in line at Disney the day after I was eliminated, brought it to an amazing local producer, and made it what we wanted it to embody, humble, home, and honest.”
As for the tour, Julia kicked it off with a sold out show in Portland, Maine on June 30.
And she and Nate — performing as Julia: The Band – have more than 20 additional shows planned around the state through mid-September.
That adds up to lots of chances to sing “Here in Maine” live, to very receptive audiences.
