Earlier this week, I posted a blog mentioning that Justin Guarini sings on a new CD about to be released by the Philly-based jazz band Drivetime.

The Allentown Morning Call posted a story this morning revealing the rest of the story.

Turns out that Justin, 30, is engaged to the 26-year-old daughter of Drivetime band member Bernie Capodici of Doylestown, Pa.

The story includes an interview with Justin about his various ventures since Idol season one. For instance, he has a new internet sketch comedy show he plans to launch on July 14. Here’s a link to the Morning Call story.

The CD release party is set for Thursday at Warmdaddy’s in Philly. Justin will be on hand to sing with the band. The CD sells for $15 and will also be available through Drivetime’s Web site.
