Fans of contestants on The Voice tend to adopt their own nicknames.

Hence supporters of Tamara Chauniece have dubbed themselves #TeamTam on Twitter.

Nick Hawk followers refer to themselves as #TheFlawk.

Kat Robichaud has a fan group, too, one named by another rocker who made a name for himself on the show — Terry McDermott, a finalist in Season 3.

“Terry was the one who came up with the name of my following – the KatPack, which is really cool. And it’s perfect for me because I went to N.C. State and we are the Wolfpack. So that’s kind of neat.”

Kat said Terry gave her a shout-out on Twitter after she kicked off Season 5 with an impressive blind audition, turning three chairs with a performance of “I Got the Music in Me.”

“I was like, ‘Oh, he knows that I exist. Yay!’

“And so I reached out to him and asked him some advice and he got back to me and he was super cool about it. He’s been really supportive,” said the 29-year-old former lead singer for a rock band called The Design.

Barring an upset, the KatPack will likely have more to cheer about when the live rounds begin Monday night on The Voice. Kat’s been one of the show’s consistently outstanding performers through three rounds and looks like one of the favorites to make the final 12.

But don’t be surprised if she throws in a curve sometime soon, a change of pace from the take-no-prisoners rock performances she’s been delivering as she’s advanced to the final five on Team Cee Lo.

“I definitely want to show a little softer side because I feel like — the past three songs that I’ve done — they’ve all been pretty heavy hitting. And I can sing a little bit prettier than I have been, you know. I’m looking forward to doing some more recent songs, as well. I’m excited about that.”
