Chloe MK, the Season 13 champ as Chloe Kohanski, released a new single called “Slide” last week. There’s an accompanying music video too. It’s apparently the first song from an upcoming album. Writes Chloe on Instagram: “Forgot what it felt like to be so connected to music that nothing else matters .. I finally found that through creating ‘slide’ and the rest of my album with @evanboutteaccount (Evan Boutté). When you are making art that you 100% believe in, and you are solely focused on doing what you love and what is right for you (and the planet) that is happiness. that is success. that is a life I want to live.”

* Kat Robichaud from Season 5 released her latest single “Colors of Your Heart” earlier this month. The song comes with an accompanying music video, filmed by Mark Semegen. Kat credits her Patreon supporters for making that possible. More good news for Kat fans: Her variety show, Misfit Cabaret, will reopen this fall with a new Halloween show called “Asylum.” It’s the first new Misfit Cabaret production since the pandemic began.

* Jamar Rogers from Season 2 released “Flow” last Friday. It’s his first single of 2021. Writes Jamar: “It took me a year to finish ‘Flow.’ I kept hitting my head against brick walls and even considered giving up. I’m glad I didn’t. This song and music video is the coolest thing I’ve ever finished.” The video isn’t out yet, but it required an underwater shoot. Jamar wrote the song with Brooke Cervenka “about how tumultuous our thoughts can be. But life happens one breath at a time; remembering this always calms the mind.” The accompanying music video landed Thursday.
