Idols on the Music Chart, Kelly Clarkson

Kelly stays at #1 in adult pop with Mr. Know It All

Kelly Clarkson has released “What Doesn’t Kill You” as the second single of her “Stronger” album.

But the first single, “Mr. Know It All,” is still doing quite well on the Billboard music charts.

In fact, the song  remains number one on the adult pop song chart this week, marking its second in that spot.

It’s also number 11 among pop songs, number 16 among radio songs and number 21 on the Hot 100, down just a spot from a week ago.

All in all, Idol is winding up a rather lackluster year in terms of chart success on an upbeat note.

Six Idol albums appear on the Billboard 200 this week, and Kelly’s “Stronger” isn’t even the top performer.

That distinction goes to Scotty McCreery’s debut album, which moves back up four spots from number 13 to number nine, and to Daughtry’s “Break the Spell,” up two spots to number 27.

Scotty’s “Clear As Day” has been in and out of the top spot on the country albums chart since its release. This week, it’s bumped to number two again, this time by Lady Antebellum’s “Own the Night.”

Here’s the video to Kelly’s new single, followed by the complete chart rundown for the week.
