* Kelsie Watts from Season 19 teams up with Alaina Cross to deliver lots of sass and a breakup anthem with the song “Checkmate.” Kelsie says she wrote the song with Alaina, Dnny, and Andew J. Gomez after retuning from The Voice. Mid-way through the co-write, they decided Alaina should be featured on the song as well. “Need a new ‘I’m finally out of that awful relationship and a freaking QUEEN’ song? We gotchu,” Kelsie writes.

Thunderstorm is also heading out on tour with Jack Shimabukuro in November and December, with lots of dates scheduled for along the East Coast and out West. You can check them all out here.

* Liam St. John from Season 19 has released a song called “Dipped in Bleach.” On social media, Liam says the song is “the most honest and and most vulnerable song I’ve ever written, so i wanted to give it to you in its most honest and vulnerable form – a live uncut session. The only way it could be more stripped is if I recorded it naked, but this isn’t the platform for that.” You can also check out Liam’s other recent single, “Happy People,” a collaboration with JZAC.
