Season two American Idol contestant Kimberley Locke held a fan contest to pick her new single.

And she recently announced the winner among the three dance tracks she was asking fans to choose between.

Her next single will be: “Finally Free.”

No word on when the song will be released. Kimberley and her team are still working on those details.

Apparently the fan voting was quite close. In announcing the single, Kimberley said she wasn’t certain which song would win until the final day of voting.

Kimberley plans to release the single independently under her own I Am Entertainment label.  Her last single, “Strobelight,” reached number five on Billboard’s Dance / Club Play chart.

Kimberley will also be co-hosting a new fitness show on ABC, tentatively titled “The Revolution,” beginning in January.
