It’s a fun pop tune called “Like a Fool” about a girl who can’t shake a certain guy.
And between the brilliant vocal and the display of his bilingual skills, it confirms my belief that Kimmy was one of the true finds on Season 18 and deserved to advance farther than she did.
As it was, the young lady from Lakeland, Fla., made it to the Top 20 before being eliminated.
You’ll recall that coronavirus robbed the Idol Season 18 cast of live shows to demonstrate their talent.
Instead, Idol aired four perform-from-home shows to wrap up the season and Kimmy was one of nine singers cut from Top 20 night.
Hopefully, Kimmy, who also graduated from high school this spring, will enjoy a bright future in music.
