The American Idol summer tour kicked off Sunday night in Portland, Ore., featuring the top 10 finishers from season eight.

So, you want to know what you’ll hear if you go to one of the Idol concerts when they hit this area?

Follow this link to The Rolling Stone’s Rock & Roll Daily. Earlier this morning, they posted a complete story and an entire set list from opening night.

Looks like Michael Sarver, Megan Joy, Lil Rounds and Scott MacIntyre get to sing two songs apiece; and Matt Giraud, Allison Iraheta and Danny Gokey perform three numbers each.

Then Adam Lambert and Kris Allen hit the stage for five-song sets before the show closes with the whole cast singing Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

Adam’s set, by the way, includes a David Bowie medley and a reprise of his Idol duet with Allison (Foghat’s “Slow Ride.”)

Don’t forget. The Idols will be in D.C. on Aug. 4, in Baltimore on Aug. 5 and in Reading on Sept. 8. For ticket details, see the Idols in the Area section at the right.

I haven’t found any photo packages yet from opening night. Not even on Idol’s official site. If I do, I’ll add them to this post.
