Michael Johns new album, “Hold Back My Heart,” isn’t available until Tuesday.

But for those of you who just can’t wait, head to music.aol.com, and you can listen to the entire 12-track album. Here’s a link.

Michael finished eighth last year on Idol, but I have a feeling his album will be better than you’d expect from an eighth-place finisher.

It marks Michael’s first official post-Idol album, though he contributed mightily to the soundtrack for a documentary about snowboarder Shaun White entitled “Don’t Look Down.” That CD was released in January.
