His audition: Aiden Ross, 20, College Station, Texas, performed “Love in the Dark” by Adele. Aiden immediately showed off a wonderful tone. He hadn’t even gotten to the chorus and he already had four chair turns. Snoop Dogg turned first. The moment didn’t seem to effect his vocal as he added some nice vocal flourishes before the song ended. Niall Horan said he loved the way Aiden took an Adele song and made it his own and said Aiden has the potential to make the finale. Reba McEntire called his voice mesmerizing. Snoop said he’s looking forward to working with Aiden after they win the show. Aiden opted to join Team Niall.

* He’s a graduate of Dade County High School in Georgia and a sophomore at Texas A&M where he’s studying industrial engineering.

* And Aiden just released his debut single, a song called “Everything and More.” It’s described as “introducing the heartfelt, honest style” Aiden’s “becoming known for — music that captures real feeling in simple, relatable ways.” Check out a snippet below.

* In his bio clip on The Voice, Aiden said he’s still trying to figure out who he is as an artist and hoping to work with a coach who can help him as a songwriter.

* That’s one of the reasons he chose Niall for a coach, according to comments posted by KCEN TV in Texas. Aiden says Niall’s song “This Town” “meant the world to me.”

* “I love the way he writes and honestly just the personality that he carries himself with, he’s a very genuine guy and I’m just excited to see more of that with him,” Aiden said.

* Aiden said that when he was in high school, he performed quite often at his family’s agri-tourism farm.

* The farm features alpacas and llamas and 24,000 strawberry plants so that people can go there and pick their own strawberries.

* Pre-Voice, Aiden had nearly 3,000 followers and more than 100,000 likes on his TikTok. Two days after his audition aired, his followers had already swelled to nearly 10,000 and his likes to more than 200,000.
