Blaire Elbert of The Voice Season 29

Blaire Elbert is among the artists who auditioned for Season 29 of The Voice.

The Voice returns to NBC Monday, Feb. 23, with the coaching trio of Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend.

Here’s more about Blaire:

* She’s a country artist from Lubbock in west Texas, a graduate of Belmont University and she’s now based in Nashville.

* And Blaire’s one of many Voice Season 29 contestants with music already released, in her case six singles since 2023.

* Her latest release, from September, is a touching cover of “When I Get Where I’m Going.” It’s a tribute to Jo Hunt, a good friend of Blaire’s who died earlier in 2025. Brad Paisley and Dolly Parton released the song in 2005.

* While Blaire didn’t release her debut solo single until three years ago, she’s been singing much, much longer than that.

* She started performing at the Cactus Theater back home at age 5 and became a member of a girl group called “The Cactus Cuties.”

* They wound up appearing on a number of TV shows, performed at the White House and appeared on the Disney show “Cory in the House.”

* Blaire moved to Nashville at age 18. Three of her singles have more than 200,000 streams on Spotify alone, including “Howdy,” a fun upbeat tune she released in 2024. Check out an acoustic version of “Howdy” below.

* In a Dirt Road Country podcast interview, Blaire says she has a wide range of inspirations in country music, including Cody Johnson, Maren Morris and Kelsea Ballerini. She grew up on Shania Twain and The Chicks.

* And more music is on the way. In a recent inteview with her hometown TV station about her upcoming appearance on The Voice, Blaire said: “I’ve been doing a lot of songwriting and I have a lot of great songs that I’m so happy to be in the process of recording right now. I have a couple up my sleeve so it’s going to be a big year for music for me.”
