Her audition: DeSz, 30, of Houston, Texas, auditioned with “Unbreak My Heart” by Toni Braxton. She had barely begun singing when Kelly turned her chair. John quickly followed. A powerful, passionate vocal and a great glory note eventually enticed chair turns from Gwen and Blake as well. DeSz decided to join Team Kelly.

* In a video interview with Heavy Rotation, DeSz says she’s classically trained and loves singing opera.

* At the time, she had just opened a show for Tamar Braxton, who she described as a “complete sweetheart.”

* She appears to have released just one single to date, an R&B tune called “Touch” that landed in February 2019. Check it out below.

* The 30-year-old grew up singing in church choirs and school choirs.
