Her audition: Cami Clune, 20, of Buffalo, N.Y., auditioned with “Skinny Love” by Bon Iver. Kelly turned no sooner than Cami started singing, followed quickly by John and Gwen. Eventually Blake turned as well, only to discover he’s been blocked. John called her performance “mesmerizing.” Kelly said she sounded “ethereal” and “angelic.” Cami opts to join Team John.

Here’s more about Cami:

* Hailing from Buffalo, N.Y., she describes herself as a singer, actress and EDM theater kid on her Instagram account.

* On her website, she says her musical style is difficult to narrow down, but is most often described as alternative, pop and R&B.

* She hasn’t released original music, but has dozens of covers you can check out on her YouTube page, ranging from Fleetwood Mac to Miley Cryus to Billie Eilish. Check out her cover of Billie’s “when the party’s over” below.

* She’s a featured artist on a track called “Wannabe,” released in September as part of an EP called “Rocket Power” by Rezi.

* Pre-pandemic, her website says she was performing two to five times a week in the Buffalo area and often performed the national anthem as sporting events. You can check out a YouTube video of her performing that honor before a Buffalo Sabres (NHL) game.

* In 2017, she played the lead in a short film called “Blink of an Eye,” designed to raise awareness of the opioid epidemic.

* Attending Christian Central Academy at the time, Cami played the role of a young dancer who injures her knee and becomes addicted to painkillers as a result.

* She not only starred in the film, but sang the title track, “If I Get High,” a cover of a Nothing But Thieves song.

* According to her web bio, Cami has also studied digital media in college and is interested in filmmaking.
