Emery Robbins of American Idol Season 22

Emery Robbins is among the artists rumored to have earned a gold ticket on Season 22 of American Idol.

Idol returns to ABC on Sunday, Feb. 18 with the coaching trio of Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan back intact.

Here’s more about Emery.

* He’s a country artist still in his teens from Ocala, Fla.

* He graduated from Forest High School in Oscala, Fla. last May.

* Emery has nearly 400 followers and more than 4,000 likes on a TikTok filled with country covers.

* Morgan Wallen, Zach Bryan and Tyler Childers are clearly among Emery’s favorite artists to cover.

* But he also tackles some classics there, including George Strait’s “You Look So Good in Love.” And below, you can check out his cover of “Neon Moon” by Brooks & Dunn.

* Longtime girlfriend Halsey Fore also sings and there’s an impressive cover of them doing “Shallow” together on Emery’s Instagram.

* They’re also both involved in worship music. Emery has been involved with Ocala United, a ministry for middle and high school students that’s allowed him to worship to thousands, he says in an Instagram post.

* In the same post, from the spring of 2023, he refers to a past few months “full of loss, exhaustion and a lot of questions with no answers.” He doesn’t elaborate, but I’m sure we’ll learn more if Idol airs his audition.
