Olivia Ximines from Orange Vista High School in California auditioned for American Idol Season 18

American Idol returns for Season 18 on Sunday, Feb. 16.

Among the singers announcing they auditioned is Olivia Ximines.

Here’s more about Olivia.

* On Instagram, she introduces herself as a 16-year-old member of the dance team at OV who likes to sing.

* OV would be Orange Vista High School in the Val Verde school district in California, where Oliva was named a junior Homecoming princess last fall.

* Last spring, she sang the national anthem at a March of Dimes benefit during which the district raised more than $61,000.

* She was also selected to sing the national anthem at the 2019 Riverside Country State of Education Address.

* In a YouTube get to know video, she says her favorite class is choir, her favorite sport is dance and she also speaks Spanish.

* Olivia just announced her Idol bid on Thursday, where she already has more than 1,500 followers. She is rumored to have done very well in the pre-taped episodes.
