In the mood for a great summertime music video?

If the answer is yes, Monique Abbadie just delivered, releasing the video for “Bajo el Sol.”

Which was already one of the best songs released by a former Voice contestant this year.

The video was filmed in Little Havana in Miami, Fla.

And while Monique looks great and the beach looks oh, so inviting, one of my favorite bits is the cameo by Pipo, the dancing Chihuahua. You can check it all out below.

Monique was 20 when she auditioned for Season 4 of The Voice, earned a spot on Team Shakira and advanced to the knockout round before being eliminated.

She released Bajo El Sol in February. The Latin remix, also available on iTunes, came out last week. Professionally, she is going simply by Monique.

And last month, after a nationwide search, Monique was named Miss ChocoVine, which means she’ll “now reign as the flirtatious face and engaging voice behind America’s #1 blend of Dutch chocolate and fine Cabernet wine,” according to the company.

According to a press release about the win, Monique responded by promising to “release the sweetest song ever written about wine.”
